The Diamond Vision Advantage - Dynamic Pixel

Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision® screens benefit from enhanced resolution, which results from the use of the "Dynamic Pixel". Dynamic Pixels are made possible by the unique Quad Dot pixel pattern used on Mitsubishi Electric screens.

To create the Dynamic Pixel, the source signal data is sampled on a dot-by-dot basis. This makes sample timings overlap each pixel with its neighbor, resulting in the Dynamic Pixel.

The advantages of the Dynamic Pixel are demonstrated below:



This image represents a white line moving from the left of the display to the right. As shown above, as the line moves to the right, it jumps from pixel- to dynamic pixel-to-pixel. This sharing of dots provides higher resolution than systems using a cluster pixel pattern.
